Who we are/What we do:
Five Horizons Health Services (FHHS) is a nonprofit community-based organization that provides services to West Alabama and East Mississippi.

Founded in 1988 as West Alabama AIDS Outreach, the agency’s original mission was to provide HIV-related outreach and prevention services to West Alabama. In 2018, the agency re-branded when more services were added to reduce stigma and maximize participation in services by all populations.

​The ‘Five’ in Five Horizons refers to the agency’s pillars of service: 1) Medical Care, 2) Prevention, 3) Supportive Services, 4) Research, and 5) Advocacy. FHHS provides services in 23 counties, with medical clinics in Tuscaloosa, AL and Starkville, MS.
