Student Support
BFSA members traditionally provide a wealth of support services for students both informally and through different planned events such our New Student Reception, The Black Scholars Program, Black Scholars Day, and a range of other events and meetings that occur throughout the year.
Any student who wishes to contact the members of the BFSA for academic advice and counseling should feel free to do so. The members in their professional roles on campus and personally are committed to student excellence and work to provide the best environment possible for students at UA.
BFSA members provide not only advice on how to succeed while at the university they also provide considerable assistance and advice to students who seek to continue on to attend professional educations such as law school, business school, or medical school, and who desire to attend different graduate research programs.
